Judy Levenson served as a Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA) Program Co-Chair for a panel event held on October 19, 2022 concerning the [Peace Officers Standards and Training] POST Commission’s history and current work. The POST Commission is charged with creating a mandatory certification process for police officers, as well as processes for decertification, suspension of certification or reprimand in instances of police misconduct. A lively and informative discussion about police reform issues took place with POST Commissioners and staff including, Hon. Margaret Hinkle (ret.), Commission Chair; Marsha Kazarosian, Commissioner; Randall Ravitz, General Counsel and LaRonica Lightfoot, Deputy General Counsel.
